Accessible sites & rental units
RV Sites
We have several RV sites designated as “wheelchair and scooter accessible”, available in both standard and premium, with the following features:
Addition of pavement or brickwork around the utility post for wheeled access to utilities
Hard pavement on site surface (no gravel) and beneath picnic area
Picnic tables with extended overhang for wheelchair seating
Premium Log Cabins
PLCs 10 & 11 are designated “ADA accessible” with the following features:
The main entrance access via ramp (no stairs)
Lever door handles throughout cabin
Widened doorways
5’ radius of clearance in living room, bathroom, and bedroom
Kitchen: Lowered cabinet heights and counter heights, one-hand opening cabinet doors
Bathroom: wider shower with fold-down seat, no threshold entry, and shower hose; lowered sink/countertop with roll-under clearance below sink; grab bars near toilet and shower
Glamping Yurts
Our Glamping Yurts have the following accessible features:
All Glamping Yurts have a 36” wide doorway and a 5’ radius of clearance inside.
Yurt #2 has ramp entry.
Tent Sites
Our tent sites are a natural environment, so we cannot guarantee wheelchair accessibility.
Standard tent sites have an overall ground surface of fine-grade, compact mulch that is designed to be rolled on with mobility equipment.
All of our tent sites are in a natural environment, which means there is natural variance in terrain from site to site, with higher variance in premium tent sites.
Cottages
Our cottages were once private homes, and therefore contain interior stairs and in some cases narrow hallways or bathrooms. Cottage 1 has a split level construction with stairs leading to all bedrooms. We have added the following features to improve accessibility in Cottages 2 & 3:
Cottage 2
Main entrance has ramp access
Ground floor bedroom, with access to kitchen, dining & living area, and a ground floor bathroom
Ground floor bath has widened doorway & roll-in shower
Cottage 3
Ramp at side door for entry to Bedroom 4 & adjoining bathroom (3 stairs divide this space from the rest of the interior)
Bedroom 4’s adjoining bathroom contains a shower (no tub), but it is not a roll-in shower
